After using Safari on OS X for a bit lately on my MacBook at work, returning to using Firefox on Windows annoyed me when I opened up new tabs and they took focus, I liked the way thay Safari opened them in the background.
A quick Google search and I found the solution 😀
- Navigate to ‘about:config’
- Change ‘browser.tabs.loadDivertedInBackground’ to true
