10 Years Ago

10 years ago today was a very long day, not in the literal sense it was obviously still only 24 hours long, but it certainly felt longer!

I’d been in hospital for a few days and the 15th November 2012 was when I was diagnosed with ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia) (yes I did have to Google the spelling!)

3 years of treatment later that was it, seems like almost nothing now but for a while it was a massive part of my lift, for the first year I think I spent about 9 months in hospital!

I’ve been off chemo for 7 years now so I think technically I’m in remission so go me!!

I did want to find my old blog backup and get it imported as I wrote a more detailed post a few years ago but if I find it ill update this post.

I do wish I’d kept a diary at the time, would of given me something to do when I was in hospital for weeks at a time! Would of been something to look back on too, even whilst still on chemo I could of reminded myself of when it was worse.

So yea 10 years!
